Pedro Marques made it 400,000 from the button with Q♣10♥ and Paul Runcan called on the button holding 10♠8♣.

They saw a flop of 3♠5♦8♥ where Runcan led out for 200,000 with his pair of eights, and Marques called.

A K♦ on the turn drew a check out of Runcan, then Marques reached for chips and fired 750,000. Runcan wasn't going anywhere, and called.

The 2♠ dropped on the river and both checked it down, with Runcan's pair of eights being good.

When it folded to Pedro Marques on the button, he shoved with a stack that covered both Barak Oz and Jaehyung Park in the blinds. Oz was the shortest stack at the table, and after looking at his cards, he made the call for his remaining 2,750,000. Park folded and the cards were revealed.

Oz was marginally ahead and needed the dealer to give him a safe runout to double-up.

However, the dealer fanned out a flop of 6♠Q♣8♣ to put Marques in the lead with a pair of eights. The K♦ on the turn meant only an ace on the river could save Oz from elimination. The 6♣ dropped on the river to give Marques the winner, and Oz was sent to the rail just shy of a podium finish.

Paul Runcan raised to 400,000 from under the gun holding A♠K♥. Barak Oz called from the small blind with A♣10♠ and Jaehyung Park defended ut of the big blind with 8♥5♥.

The 4♣Q♥10♦ flop checked around for the 5♦ to fall on the turn. Oz checked and Park fired a bet of 675,000. Runcan quickly folded, but Oz thought about it for a while before he reluctantly folded and surrendered the pot to Park.

Anton Bergstrom Eliminated in 5th Place (€303,000)

Paul Runcan raised to 600,000 from the button and Anton Bergstrom three-bet shoved for 2,125,000 out of the small blind. Runcan called to try and bust Bergstrom.

It was a flip that Bergstrom needed to win to have a chance of becoming the only three-time EPT Champion.

The 9♠K♦9♦ flop gave Bergstrom a few more outs to stay alive. The 2♥ turn was a complete brick, and after the 8♠ dropped on the river Bergstrom was out in fifth, and it guaranteed a new EPT Main Champion will be crowned.

On the K♥10♠Q♠ flop, both players checked to the 7♠ turn, which also checked through.

A K♦ landed on the river and Park bet 200,000, which Runcan quickly called.

Park then revealed a flush with J♠8♠, and Runcan mucked his 10♥3♥.
