Aces Over Kings: Schneiders Sends Gherghe Packing
Niveau 5
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
Razvan Gherghe opened the action from early position with a raise to 1,300, drawing a call from Marle Spragg in the cutoff. Felix Schneiders, seated on the button, escalated the pot with a three-bet to 3,800.
When the action returned to Gherghe, he moved all in. Spragg quickly got out of the way, leaving the decision to Schneiders, who snap-called.
Razvan Gherghe: K♣K♦
Felix Schneiders: A♦A♥
With two premium hands clashing, Gherghe was looking for a miracle on the board.
Unfortunately for him, it ran out 3♦Q♥6♣2♠10♠, providing no assistance for the kings.
Gherghe hit the rail, while Schneiders raked in the pot, bringing his stack back to almost starting level.
