Runcan Pays Off Marques
Niveau 33
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Paul Runcan limped in from the small blind with Q♠7♦ and Pedro Marques checked the big blind holding Q♦8♣.
On the J♥9♥3♠ flop, both players tapped the table to see the 10♠ on the turn, where Runcan checked and Marques bet 500,000. Runcan called.
A 7♥ on the river saw Runcan check again, then Marques fired 1,750,000 with his straight. After burning through a time bank, Runcan elected to call, then mucked when he saw the straight of Marques.
