PokerNews coverage of the 2025 Free Poker Network (FPN) Desert Dash-for-Cash National Championship at Las Vegas' Golden Nugget kicks off today with the $200 WPT Passport event starting at 5 p.m. local time.
The special event will award a World Poker Tour Passport valued at $5,000 that allows players to take a shot in any 2025 WPT event of their choice, be it in Choctaw, Thunder Valley or Montreal.
The $200 buy-in tournament will see players begin with a starting stack of 20,000. Levels will last for 20 minutes and late registration will remain open through Level 6.
The top 15% of the field will advance to the Desert Dash-For-Cash Championship Main Event with 20,000 chips and win a cash prize of $200.
Coverage of the $200 WPT Passport event will be followed by Saturday's Tag Team Championship and Sunday's Desert Dash-For-Cash Championship Main Event, where participants will spar for a piece of the $100,000 cash prize and $10,000 in Mystery Bounties. Both events will include live-stream coverage available to watch on YouTube.
