Robin Engelmann Wins the NAPT Last Longer

Niveau 28 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Robin Engelmann

During the FPS Aix-les-Bains Main Event, players with a PokerStars account could participate in a last longer competition, with a $10,000 package for the upcoming NAPT in Las Vegas up for the winner.

To take part in this competition, players had to wear a “Last Longer NAPT” patch from the start of Day 1. After three days of action, three out of the 15 remaining players still had a patch. But after Quentin Girardet's elimination, only Erich Tedeschi and Robin Engelmann were still in the race for the package.

In the end, Tedeschi was eliminated just before the final table, finishing 10th for €8,720, leaving the package to Engelmann. The young player will head to Las Vegas for the first time in his life from November 4 to 11, to participate in the $5,300 NAPT Main Event at Resorts World.

Damien Noraz Eliminated in 9th Place (€11,280)

Angel Insua opened to 160,000 from the hijack with 77 and Damien Noraz defended his big blind with J9.

Noraz checked to Insua, who continued for 150,000 on the A5A flop. Noraz then check-raised to 300,000 and Insua called.

The K fell on the turn and Noraz bet 300,000. Insua again called.

Noraz wasn't done and announced he was all in for his last 500,00 after the Q completed the board.

Insua went deep into the tank as he contemplated his decision, but ended up making the correct call with his pair of sevens and Noraz was eliminated in ninth place.

Action folded to Tung Nguyen in the small blind, who raised enough to put Tedeschi all in for his last 300,000 in the big blind.

Tedeschi peeked at his hole cards and slid his stack into the middle to put himself at risk.
