Ghillain Nearly Triples up
Niveau 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Cid Ghillain, Jeremie Essertel, and the player in the cutoff were in a pot on a flop of 5♣8♣J♥.
Ghillain was already all in for approximately 20,000 on the button and the player in the cutoff was all in for a bit less. Essertel had both players covered and called from the big blind.
Cutoff: 5♠5♦
Cid Ghillain: 10♥9♦
Jeremie Essertel: 8♥8♦
Essertel found himself in great shape to score a double-elimination with his set of eights, but the 7♦ turn filled Ghillain's straight to take the lead.
The 2♦ river bricked out and Gillain nearly tripled up while Essertel took a big hit to his stack.
