Chung Eliminates an Opponent to Surpass 300k

On a {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Spades} Timothy Chung was on the button and was facing an opponent's bet of 5,500. Chung raised to 15,000 and his opponent re-raised to 65,500. Chung flat-called.

His opponent shoved for 65,000 on the {k-Spades} turn and Chung called.

"You have the flush?" his opponent asked and Chung nodded tabling {q-Spades}{j-Spades}. His opponent turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} for a set.

"Pair the board," came the cry, but there was no help on the {a-Hearts} river and he was eliminated, boosting Chung up above 300,000. Also at the table with a stack above that mark is Day 1b chip leader Steve Jelinek.

Double for Onisforou

John Bell opened from under the gun and M C called on the button. Giorgos Onisforou called in the big blind.

The trio checked the {7-Spades}{9-Spades}{j-Spades} flop. Onisforou bet 5,000 on the {6-Diamonds} turn and M C was the only caller.

The river was the {j-Hearts} and Onisforou shoved for 18,500. M C called but Onisforou showed {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for the nut flush. M C flashed {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for trip jacks and Onisforou doubled up.

Sampson then moved in over the top to get McNally to open-fold ace-king offsuit.

Yudhishter Jaswal opened to 3,600 from the button before calling Chun Law's 11,000 three-bet from the small blind.

The {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} flop checked through to the {10-Diamonds} turn where Law check-called a bet of 18,000. Jaswal sized up to 53,000 on the {5-Hearts} and Law quickly called. Jaswal turned over his {k-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for the winner in a huge pot.

Also on their table is GUKPT regular Leon Campbell who has a stack of around 200,000.

"You win," said Jordon, with Lodge tabling {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}. Jordon open-mucked {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Lodge took down the pot.

"Look what you've done now," said tablemate Fraser MacIntyre. "You've given him chips!"
