Nikolay Fal Eliminated in 22nd Place ($6,750)
Niveau 24
: 20,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Nikolay Fal opened to 395,000 from the hijack, leaving just 5,000 behind. Dmitry Yurasov made the call.
The flop came A♥K♠3♠. Fal checked, Yurasov flicked in a 25,000 chip, Fal tanked for about 90 seconds, ostensibly in an effort to make the next pay jump, before making the call.
Nikolay Fal: Q♠J♠
Dmitry Yurasov: A♠K♥
Fal was in rough shape against Yurasov's two pair and needed to hit a ten to preserve his tournament life. He found no help on the 3♣ turn or 6♣ river and was sent to the rail courtesy of Yurasov who scooped the pot.
