Govorov Wins Pivotal Flip
Niveau 25
: 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya opened to 120,000 from middle position and was called by Leonid Sidelkovskiy on the button before Ivan Govorov moved all in from the small blind for 1,610,000. Skhulukhiya reshoved for approximately 3,700,000 and after some deliberation Sidelkovskiy folded J♠J♣ face up.
Ivan Govorov: A♥Q♣
Giorgiy Skhulukhiya: 9♠9♦
Govorov made second pair on the K♥Q♠4♦ flop to take the lead, leaving Skhulukhiya drawing to two outs. The 8♥ turn and 3♣ river were bricks and Govorov secured a massive double up at Skhulukhiya's expense.
