Daniliuk Takes the Lead
Niveau 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Andrei Daniliuk opened to 800,000 from the button with J♣9♥ and Ivan Govorov defended from the big blind with A♣Q♠.
The Q♥5♥4♥ flop gave Govorov top pair and Daniliuk a flush draw. Both players checked leading to the 9♣ turn, giving Daniliuk second pair. Govorov bet 400,000 and Daniliuk made the call.
Daniliuk spiked the 9♠ river, hitting trips to pull ahead of Govorov, who bet 1,500,000. Daniliuk quickly called to take down a sizable pot, claiming the chip lead in the process.
