Weiser Picks Off a Bluff

Ryan Lashmar

Niveau 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Aziz Efe opened to 4,000 from middle position and Maximilian Weiser defended from the big blind.

The flop came A♥10♥7♠ and Weiser check-called a 4,000 continuation bet from Efe.

Both players checked the 8♠ turn leading to the K♣ river. Weiser checked, Efe bet 12,000 and Weiser snap-called.

Efe could only show 6♥5♥ for a missed flush and straight draw while Weiser tabled J♣7♣ for just bottom pair to take the pot.
