Nurmuhammedov Leads All In
Niveau 33
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Baurzhan Akimov opened in early position to 500,000 before the action moved all the way to Parahat Nurmuhammedov who defended his big blind.
The A♥7♦6♣ flop hit the felt and after only a second in the tank Nurmuhammedov led all in for 1,125,000. Akimov snap called.
Parahat Nurmuhammedov: 5♥4♥
Baurzhan Akimov: A♠J♠
Nurmuhammedov had equity in the form of an open ender but Akimov was in the lead with top pair. The dealer burned and turned the 8♥ and just like that Akimov was drawing dead. The 9♣ river didn't change a thing and Nurmuhammedov got a pure double with eight still remaining.
