Fabian Quoss Eliminated in 3rd Place ($133,000)
Niveau 36
: Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
The very next hand after Dmitry Gromov doubled he opened the button to 1,000,000 before the action was on Fabian Quoss in the small blind. After only a moment in the tank he moved all in having Gromov covered by just 75,000 chips.
Gromov snap called and the cards hit their backs.
Dmitry Gromov: A♦Q♠
Fabian Quoss: Q♣10♣
The full board ran out 9♣2♣5♦4♠4♦ and Quoss was left with just 75,000 chips.
The next hand he tossed in the last of his stack with Q♥10♠ and could not improve against the K♦10♥ of Dmitry Yurasov.
Quoss hit the rail after coming out of retirement to show he still has what it takes. The tournament is now heads up.
