Smolka Puts in the Four-Bet

Niveau 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Dawid Smolka opened to 9,000 for the fourth hand in a row as the table big stack. A player in middle position called and then the action moved all the way to the big blind who wasted no time before three-betting all in for about 40,000. The action was back on Smolka who did some inventory and then four-bet all in over the top.

This did the trick as the middle position player got out of the way and the cards hit their backs.

Big Blind: KQ
Dawid Smolka: AJ

The full board ran out K3A210 and Smolka sent his opponent to the rail with the help of a big protection bet.

Aksoy Snap Calls the Flop Four-Bet Jam

Niveau 12 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The action folded all the way to the button where Tinay Aksoy raised to 7,000. The big blind defended and they were off to a flop heads up.

The 764 flop landed and action checked to Aksoy who continued for 4,000. The big blind thought it over and then put in a check-raise to 12,000.

Undeterred by the action, Aksoy put in a flop three-bet to 28,000. His opponent sat in the tank for about a minute before putting in a four-bet jam with Aksoy covering. He snap called.

Big Blind: Q8
Tinay Aksoy: A5

The big blind already had a flush with the redraw to the straight flush but Aksoy was holding the nut flush draw. The turn brought it right in with the J but there was still a sliver of hope for the big blind to his the super nuts. That card would never come as the river was a blank and Aksoy sent his opponent to the rail.

The action was then on the small blind who took a moment before moving all in for about 50,000. The action was then back on Wei who took his time before clicking it back to 100,000. The rest of the players all begrudgingly folded and the two players cards hit their backs.

Small Blind: 66
Guo Liang Wei: 77

The full board ran out 10KQ52 and Wei would get a pile of chips that would send hit to the top of the leaderboard.

Maksim Skripkin
Maksim Skripkin

Damir Gabdullin opened under the gun to 5,000 before it folded all the way to Maksim Skripkin who defended his big blind.

The AJQ flop hit the felt and Skripkin check-called a 5,000 continuation bet from Gabdullin on their way to a J turn.

The action checked through on the turn and 9 rolled off on the river.

Skripkin checked it over to Gabdullin who went big with a wager of 17,000. Skripkin leaned over to see what Gabdullin had left behind and then promptly check-raised all in having Gabdullin covered.

Gabdullin went into the tank for a few moments but eventually he put in the chips. Skripkin tabled 23 for a turned flush and Gabdullin tabled KJ for turned trips.

Gabdullin hit the rail but all is not lost as late registration is still open.
