Bogdan Jontulovic Eliminated in 2nd Place ($211,400)
Niveau 38
: Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Nichan Khorchidian shoved from the button and Bogdan Jontulovic, with around 9,000,000 in his stack, made the call.
Bogdan Jontulovic: K♠3♠
Nichan Khorchidian: A♠8♦
Khorchidian had a chance to capture the title, but was dealt a huge blow on the 10♠K♥Q♣ flop as Jontulovic paired his king. Some of Khorchidian's outs were removed when Jontulovic improved to two pair on the 3♦ turn, which meant only a jack on the river would secure Khorchidian the trophy.
With all eyes locked on the board, the dealer burned and turned the J♣, one of four outs that Khorchidian needed, which meant Jontulovic was eliminated in 2nd.
