Akimov Drills the Turn
Niveau 11
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Samuel Dray opened to 6,000 from the button only for Ming Wang to move all in from the small blind for 53,500. Baurzhan Akimov, who covered both players, then moved all in himself, forcing Dray out of the pot to leave Wang at risk.
Ming Wang: A♥10♥
Baurzhan Akimov: 6♦6♥
Wang was in great shape with top pair on the A♣J♣5♥ flop but was left drawing dead after the 6♣ turn gave Akimov a set. After the J♦ river Wang made his exit from the tournament area while Akimov took down a healthy pot.
