Andrian Wakes Up With Kings to Leave Alajmi on Fumes
Niveau 33
: Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Abdullah Alajmi raised to 1,800,000 on the button, Simone Andrian three-bet to 5,000,000, and Alajmi called.
The flop came 4♥6♠8♠ and Andrian pushed his entire stack of 16,550,000 forward. Alajmi burned through multiple time banks as he tanked for several minutes before calling.
Simone Andrian: K♠K♣
Abdullah Alajmi: A♦8♦
Andrian was ahead with his pair of kings, while Alajmi needed help with his pair of eights to end the tournament. He didn't improve on the 9♦ turn, while the 2♣ river locked up a massive double up for Andrian as he left Alajmi with less than three big blinds.
