Ivanov Gives Up on the Bluff

Niveau 20 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Andrei Stoenescu raised the button to 27,000 and Vladislav Ivanov defended from the big blind.

The flop came down A♥J♥K♦, prompting Ivanov to check. Stoenescu fired a continuation-bet of 36,000 and Ivanov called.

When the J♦ landed on the turn, Ivanov led out for 50,000, which Stoenescu called.

The 4♣ river checked through and Ivanov showed a bluff with Q♥9♠. Stoenescu had that beat with A♣8♠ for top pair to take down the pot.
