Dawid Smolka opened to 300,000 from early position with Merijn van Rooij calling from the hijack, and Kirill Shcherbakov defending his big blind.

The action checked to Van Rooij on the K♥7♦5♥ flop and he bet 225,000. Scherbakov folded, but Smolka check-raised to 800,000. Van Rooij called to see a turn.

The A♥ came on the turn and Smolka continued with a bet of 1,000,000. Van Rooij slid in the call.

The 6♥ fell on the river and Smolka fired another bet of 1,000,000. Van Rooij burned through two time extensions before tossing his cards into the muck and surrendering the pot to Smolka.
