The 2♥8♣7♥ flop landed and action checked to Liu who continued for 180,000. Rutherford went into the tank and after a few moments he put in a check-raise to 450,000. Liu thought over his options, but without wasting much time he put in a flop three-bet to 1,500,000.

Rutherford quickly mucked and Liu dragged a healthy pot without showdown.
