Keshavarzi Flushes Opponent Out the Door
Niveau 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
On a flop reading Q♠9♠10♠ with three active players having committed chips preflop, Maz Keshavarzi checked from the big blind before a player in middle position bet 1,000.
The player on the button made the call before watching Keshavarzi count out a check-raise to 4,500.
The player in middle position quickly folded but the button player wasn't so quick to release his hand. After a moment of thought, they eventually decided on an all-in and slid their stack into the middle. Keshavarzi quickly called, putting his opponent at risk and headed to a runout.
Button: A♥10♦
Maz Keshavarzi: 4♠5♠
The 4♣ turn meant that the button was drawing dead headed to the meaningless 2♠ river as he stood up to make his way towards the rail.
