Shiller Flushes the River
Niveau 9
: Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Brendan Shiller raised to 2,200 from middle position only to see a three-bet of 9,000 come from Maz Keshavarzi two seats to his left. Shiller verified the amount before making the call to see a 5♣2♦6♣ flop.
Shiller checked over to Keshavarzi who continued with a bet of 20,000. Shiller, sitting on just over 14,000, called off to put himself at risk and send both players to a runout.
Brendan Shiller: 10♣8♣
Maz Keshavarzi: A♦10♥
The 9♦ turn card kept Keshavarzi well in the lead, but that all changed when the J♣ spiked the river, stealing the pot Keshavarzi as Shiller secures a full double.
