McKuin Flops Trips and Gets Paid
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Action was picked up on the turn with roughly 33,000 in the pot, and the board showing 5♦Q♠5♣J♠.
Steven McKuin bet out 15,000 from the big blind and was called by Michael Brinkenhoff in the cutoff.
The river was the A♥ and McKuin bet out 34,100. Brinkenhoff confirmed the count and made the call. Brinkenhoff then turned over A♦K♣ for two pair, aces and fives, but McKuin had the winner when he tabled 5♥2♥ for trip fives to take the sizable pot.
