Shak Takes a Chunk From Koon With Aces

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-bet pot between Jason Koon on the button and the big blind Dan Shak. There was roughly 27,500 in the pot and the board showing J22.

After the flop Koon called a bet of 10,000 from Shak.

The turn brought the Q and Koon again called a bet from Shak, this time for 25,000.

Both players checked after the K on the river. Shak tabled AA to take the pot, as Koon tapped the table and tossed his cards in the muck. He then told Shak "The ace of diamonds would have been the end of me".

Action picked up on the river with a sizable pot brewing in a hand between Jonathan Little and Richard Bai.

With about 185,000 in the middle and the board reading 4943K, Bai was faced with an all-in bet of around 115,000 from Little.

Bai, who had close to 145,000 behind, went into the tank before eventually surrendering his hand.

Sebesta Picks Off the Bluff

After the 386 flop, Sebesta checked to Klein who bet out 3,000. Saliba folded and Sebesta made the call.

Both players checked the K turn, which brought the 4. Sebesta then check-called a bet of 3,000 from Klein. At showdown Klein turned over A4 for just ace high, and Sebesta tabled the winner with J8 to take the pot with his pair of eights.

Dan Shak limped in the hijack, David Coleman called in the cutoff, and Shannon Shorr raised to 6,000 on the button. Manuel Fritz called in the small blind, Shak called, and Coleman got out of the way.

The flop came 29J, and action checked around to Shorr, who bet 6,000. Fritz called and Shak folded.

On the K turn, Fritz check-folded to Shorr's bet of 20,000 and the pot was pushed Shorr's way.
