Miracle River Saves Rodrigues
Niveau 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
A pot of around 14,000 had been build on the turn between Roysyn Rodrigues from under the gun and Carol Harmon on the button.
With the board reading 7♣6♥3♣9♠, Rodrigues checked to Harmon who continued for 8,000. Rodrigues responded with a check-jam for 20,500 and Harmon snapped it off.
Roysyn Rodrigues: 9♥8♥
Carol Harmon: J♥J♣
Harmon was ahead with her overpair but Rodrigues had an open ender and two-pair outs. The dealer peeled the 8♣ on the river to give Rodrigues top two as he sat back down in his seat and collected the full double at the expense of Harmon.
