Tamayo Bets Into Bohmerwald's Aces; Fritz Doubles Off Song

David Salituro

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Heads-up on a board of 2♣10♥6♦10♦, Jonathan Tamayo bet 27,000 from the button and Michael Bohmerwald called in middle position.

The river was the 5♦ and Tamayo bet another 77,000. Bohmerwald again called and Tamayo showed K♥J♥. Bohmerwald turned over A♥A♦ to win the pot.

At the same time at another table, Manuel Fritz doubled up to more than 550,000 when he picked up aces against Yunkyu Song's ace-king.

"Do I have any future in this tournament?" Song wondered after the hand.

"Of course you do. I see you at the final table," Fritz told him.
