Sverko Spikes the River to Double Off Vu
Niveau 28
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Quang Vu raised to 200,000 in early position and Chanelle Morimatsu called on the button, as did big blind Gregor Sverko.
The flop came Q♣10♣3♥ and Vu bet 250,000. Morimatsu called, but Sverko moved all in for 695,000. Vu called and Morimatsu got out of the way.
Gregor Sverko: K♣J♠
Quang Vu: K♥K♠
Sverko needed to complete his straight draw against Vu's kings, but he missed the Q♠ turn. The river was the A♦ and Sverko made his straight to double up.
