Upon seeing the dealer fan out the 9♣Q♦8♦ flop, Hanley shoved for Campbell's remaining 245,000. Campbell snap-called.

Campbell had flopped a set against the Cowboys of Hanley. The rest of the board ran out clean for Campbell's set as it came 5♣J♠ and he doubled through Hanley.

When it folded to John Rooney in the small blind he shoved for 63,000 with just the big blind to get through. The IPO Super High Roller champion, Liam Chevalier was sitting in the big blind and made the call to put Chevalier at risk.

Rooney managed to win the flip with his pocket fives, as the board ran out J♦4♣2♠2♦A♣ and he stayed alive in the tournament.

Edward Landy limped in from middle position before Daniel Wylde raised to 23,000 from the hijack. After the rest of the table folded, Wylde called.
The two players checked the Q♠5♣5♥ flop to see the 2♥ hit the turn. Landy checked and Wylde shoved for roughly 90,000. Landy didn't take long to fold his cards and forfeit the pot to Wylde.

Neil Higgins raised to 12,000 from the cutoff with Tomas Flanagan calling on the button before Aidan Quinlan shoved from the big blind with the covering stack. Higgins had roughly 200,000 behind and after thinking it over for a few minutes, made the call for his tournament life on the direct bubble. Flanagan folded and the cards were revealed.

It was a classic race until the dealer slowly fanned out the A♠2♠6♥ flop, propelling Higgins into the lead with top pair. If Higgins could fade a jack, then the tournament would remain on the bubble.
However, the J♣ hit the turn, giving Quinlan a set and leaving Higgins drawing dead. The entire tournament room erupted in celebration as everyone realized they had made it into the money.
The river came an irrelevant 9♠ and Higgins was the bubble boy of the 2024 International Poker Open Main Event.
