There are too many tables to keep our eyes on them all but PokerStars Ambassador Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis is doing better than fellow Ambassador and recently eliminated Benj "Spraggy" Spragg as he has chipped up to 180,396.

PokerStars Ambassador Arlie "Prince Pablo" Shaban has also had a good start to the day and has a stack of 102,633.

Veldhuis Takes It on the River

Niveau 21 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis won a big hand just before the blinds went up.

"VittRocc" opened to 5,250 from middle position and Lex "L. Veldhuis" Veldhuis called from the cutoff.

"VittRocc" bet 8,931 after the {10-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} came on the flop and Veldhuis called.

Veldhuis then called a bet of 12,500 after the {q-Spades} appeared on the turn.

The {5-Spades} completed the board on the river and "VittRocc" bet 27,500. Veldhuis jammed more than covering the 70,659 his opponent had behind and took down the pot after his opponent folded.

Looking Back at the History of the PokerStars Sunday Million

Niveau 21 : 1,500/3,000, 375 ante

Last year, PokerNews took a look back at the history of the Sunday Million ahead of the 13th Anniversary. One year later, read all about the history of this prestigious tournament.

You have to go all the way back to March 5, 2006 to find the inaugural Sunday Million. A field of 5,893 players exchanged $215 for the chance to become the first-ever PokerStars Sunday Million champion. That player was “aaaaaaaa” who got their hands on the $173,843 top prize and a place in online poker’s history books.
