Kings for Duhamel

Niveau 12 : 15,000/35,000, 35,000 ante
Jonathan Duhamel
Jonathan Duhamel

The dealer fanned a flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and the big blind checked to Jonathan Duhamel who bet 80,000 from under the gun. The big blind check-raised to 255,000 and Duhamel shoved all in. His opponent quickly called off his stack of around 1,000,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Duhamel flipped over {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and his opponent in trouble with {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}. The turn was the {2-Clubs} and the {9-Diamonds} on the river changed nothing as Duhamel held on to eliminate his opponent. It's been an all-in party at most of the tables as players are looking to get their chips in the middle as quickly as possible for the late registration period closes after this level.

Simon Higgins has emerged as the current chip leader but there are plenty of big names near the top of the leaderboard as well. Justin Bonomo, Sylvain Loosli, Steve O'Dwyer, and Benjamin Pollak all have a healthy amount of chips in front of them.
