Zamiga Eliminated on the Bubble

Niveau 23 : 125,000/250,000, 125,000 ante

The action was already hand-for-hand with two players away from reaching the money and Ryan Riess was all in with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}. He would need some help against the {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} of James Rann. Riess picked up a ton of outs on the turn with the board reading {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} but the {4-Hearts} on the river was not one of them.

In the first hand on the stone money bubble, Mihail Zamiga shoved all in for 1,375,000 in the small blind. Garry Stevens-Smith quickly called from the big blind and the hands were finally revealed after the action on all of the other tables was completed. Zamiga turned over {a-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Stevens-Smith showed {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The board ran out {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Zamiga was eliminated on the money bubble.

Approaching the Bubble

Niveau 21 : 80,000/160,000, 80,000 ante

There are currently just 139 players remaining on in the $1,100 Finale as the money bubble is approaching quickly. Dylan Lask currently holds the chip lead with over 23 million chips but there are plenty of big names near the top of the leaderboard.

Even some regulars on the high roller scene have jumped into the last event of the series and starting to run up stacks including Fedor Holz, Rainer Kempe, David Peters, and Ryan Riess.
