Kessler, Alsup, Tsoukernik Among Eliminations

Niveau 16 : 35,000/70,000, 70,000 ante
Leon Tsoukernik
Leon Tsoukernik

Rich Alsup got his last 1.5 million in preflop with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} but was way behind the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} of an opponent. The {9-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop was a good one for him but no further help emerged.

At another table, Aram Zobian limped in the cutoff and Leon Tsoukernik made it 200,000 on the button. Zobian popped it to 400,000 and Tsoukernik quickly called with about 650,000 back. That went in after Zobian checked the {k-Hearts}{5-Spades}{q-Spades} flop and Zobian quickly called with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Tsoukernik had {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and failed to improve on the {4-Diamonds} turn and {5-Diamonds} river.

At that same table, Allen Kessler also went bust, tweeting that he'd lost his remaining chips to Jeremy Ausmus with kings against queens.
