Lefrancios Rivers a Consolation Prize
On a flop of
with around 100,000 already in the middle, Pascal Lefrancois checked from the big blind. His opponent, in early position, slid in a bet of 35,000 and Lefrancois check-raised to 130,000. His opponent made the call and the
landed on the turn.
Lefrancois tanked for well over a minute before tossing in a bet of 250,000. His opponent stuck around to see the
on the river. Lefrancois checked this time and his opponent knuckled the table behind him. Lefrancois turned over
for a missed flush draw but hit a pair of jacks on the river. That proved to be good enough to earn him the pot as he quickly chipped up after just taking a seat.
The field number of entries has increased to 139 now with 122 players remaining. Some notable to recently take their seats include Jeff Gross, Chris Moorman, and Peter Jetten.
