Giorgiy Skhulukhiya bet the 
river for 26,500 and that sent Ion Stanica into the tank. Eventually, the Romanian made the call and Skhulukhiya tabled 
for a flush. That was a relief for Stanica, who held 
for the superior flush, boosting his stack to more than two times of what he started with.
Heads-up to the 
turn with around 18,000 in the middle, Georges Hanna check-raised all-in for the 53,100 he had behind. Umit Saidi had bet 6,500 and made the call.

Hanna was behind but had plenty of outs with the gutshot and nut flush draw. The

One player in the field seems to have already doubled his stack and that happens to be Ali Soleimanian. He was just spotted with a bet of 8,500 on the 
turn and Silma Macalou check-called out of the blinds. Macalou also checked the 
on the river and Soleimanian now bet 17,500. That was enough to rake in the pot uncontested and further boost his stack.
With some 30,000 in the middle and the turn showing 
, a bet of 6,900 was announced with the words "same bet", indicating that the flop bet had been as much. Fadi Alakzam called and the 
on the river was then checked. Alakzam was the first to show and tabled 
for aces up.
His opponent mucked and Alakzam grinned, said "sixty nine is my number" while raking in the pot.
Following the 
river, Roger Abed made it 11,500 to go and he was called by one opponent to reveal 
for a set of fives. That won the pot right there as Abed is off to a decent start here on Day 1b.
According to the screens there are already 110 entries and among the latest notables to join the fray were Aleksandr Gofman, Amjad Nader and Milad Oghabian. It appears that no player has been eliminated yet.
On the tail end of a medium-sized pot between Svitlana Ryha and Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy, the former check-called the 
turn and checked the on the river. Merzhvinskiy checked it back and Ryha's 
won the pot.
Picking up the action on the 
turn, Nicolas Endrawos checked and Giorgiy Skhulukhiya bet 2,600 for his opponent to call. The fell on the river and Endrawos had already checked in the dark. Skhulukhiya now bet 6,300 and his opponent raised to 10,400. It was then deemed to be a forced min-raise to 12,600 and Skhulukhiya called.
