Nitsche Scoops a Big One

Niveau 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Thomas Muehloecker raised to 90,000 on the button and Dominik Nitsche called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Nitsche checked to Muehloecker who continued for 80,000. Nitsche check-raised to 250,000 and Muehloecker called.

The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Nitsche led out for 400,000 which Muehloecker called. The {5-Hearts} completed the board and Nitsche slid in another 400,000. Muehloecker snap-called and Nitsche tabled {4-Spades}{3-Spades} for two pair, enough to earn him the pot.

The players are heading on another 15-minute break, and when the action resumes, the levels will be reduced to 30 minutes.

The action folded to Markus Durnegger on the button who pushed all in for just less than 600,000. Tom-Aksel Bedell re-shoved all in for 1,625,000 in the small blind and Martin Zamani quickly called from the big blind.

Martin Zamani: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Tom-Aksel Bedell: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Markus Durnegger: {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}

The flop of {8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades} left Zamani in the lead with both of his opponents at risk. The turn was the {j-Spades} and the river was the {8-Spades} to give Zamani a massive pot and eliminate both Durnegger and Bedell in the same hand.

Muehloecker's Rail Calls the Runners

Niveau 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Muehloecker opened for 60,000 second to act and Martin Zamani defended big blind. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs} and Muehloecker's continuation-bet was the same amount. Zamani put in 180,000 and Muehloecker jammed for 510,000, getting a quick call.

Martin Zamani: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Thomas Muehloecker: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Muehloecker had been outflopped but his friends on the rail called for a deuce after the {2-Diamonds} turn. Sure enough, the {2-Clubs} river gave the Austrian queens up for a double.

Nitsche Finds a Double

Niveau 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

On a flop of {10-Hearts}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs} with around 200,000 in the middle, Dominik Nitsche got the last of his 280,000 chips in the middle against Tom-Aksel Bedell. Nitsche turned over {q-Spades}{10-Spades} and was in a great position to double up against Bedell's {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The turn was the {5-Clubs} to give Bedell a couple more outs but the {k-Hearts} on the river bricked off and Nitsche doubled through.
