Winter Doubles Through Silver

Niveau 20 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Max Silver shoved from the small blind when it folded to him and Sean Winter called with {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} in the big. Silver held live cards with {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The {j-Spades}{8-Clubs}{k-Clubs} flop gave him a straight draw. The {4-Hearts} was a brick. Silver paired with the {10-Diamonds} river but that card just gave Winter the nuts.

Winter's stack was counted down as 189,000 and he collected a double from his neighbor.

Two Big Stacks Play a Pot

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Markus Durnegger raised to 27,000 from the cutoff and Sam Greenwood three-bet to 80,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Durnegger called to see a flop of {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{5-Hearts}.

Durnegger checked to Greenwood who continued for 70,000. Durnegger ditched his cards and Greenwood scooped the pot.

The action has recently come to a halt with the big stacks playing some small pots and the small stacks waiting for each other to bust.

Durnegger Gets a Fold from Machon

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded to Bartlomiej Machon in the small blind who just limped in and then called when Markus Durnegger raised to 45,000 in the big blind. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades} and both players checked to the {10-Hearts} on the turn.

Machon checked again Durnegger counted out a bet of 40,000. Machon called and the {9-Spades} completed the board. One more check from Machon and a bet of 80,000 from Durnegger was enough to earn him the pot.

Door Card Saves Kitai

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai opened for 140,000 in the hijack, leaving 12,000 back. Ben Heath shoved in the small blind and Kitai craned his neck to see if anyone was all in at the table. When it became clear they weren't, he dropped in his remaining chips and turned over {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Heath had him dominated with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} but the {7-Spades} window card was perfect for Kitai, followed by {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}. The {8-Diamonds} turn and {k-Diamonds} river left Heath sending the double.

Silver Pips Kerber

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Kelvin Kerber raised to 25,000 from early position and Max Silver moved all but 4,000 of his chips into the middle for 280,000. Kerber quickly announced all in Silver took his time before calling.

Max Silver: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Kelvin Kerber: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

Silver was in great position to double up and the board of {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts} changed nothing.

Petrangelo Doubles Through Speranza

Niveau 19 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo shoved in middle position for 153,000 and action folded to big blind Gianluca Speranza. He thought a bit and then called.

Nick Petrangelo: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Gianluca Speranza: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The {7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop was a beauty for Petrangelo and the {4-Clubs} turn sealed his double.

"You must have really thought I had it," he said with a laugh after the hand, referencing Speranza's thinking time.
