With 3 Single-Day High Rollers in the book, today’s it’s time for the final one to start at 3 PM here at the Atlantis Resort. Yes, the $25,000 Single-Day High Roller II during the last few days of the 2019 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure is likely to attract all the usual suspects but it also depends on how they are doing in the Main Event.
Sean Winter took the first $25,000 Single-Day down by defeating David Peters heads-up on a second day which ended up lasting only three hands. Rainer Kempe edged out Alex Foxen in the first $50,000. And last night, Timothy Adams laid claim to a PokerStars Spade by knocking out Stephen Chidwick with their own version of poker, JokerPoker. So, who will sweep up the last Single-Day High Roller Spade?
Each player will get 100,000 in chips in return for their buy-in, with blinds starting at 500/1,000/1,000 for the first two 30-minute levels. The registration and reentry period is scheduled to close at the start of Level 9 with one single reentry allowed. A 15-minute break is scheduled after every four levels with an 80-minute dinner break after the eight level. But as always, things are subject to change.
A shot clock will be in play from the start, giving each player 30 seconds to take a decision. Six time bank cards will be given to the players with an extra three to be handed out once the final table has been reached.
Keep following the action from the floor as the PokerNews live reporting team will be on hand from the first card of the deck until the final river has been dealt.
