Sontheimer Takes One

Niveau 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 24,000 from the hijack and was called by Adrian Mateos on the button, and by Evan Mathis and Steffen Sontheimer in the blinds.

They all checked through the {3-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} on the flop to the {4-Hearts} on the turn. Mateos was the only one to call the 35,000 bet of Sontheimer.

The river completed the board with the {q-Hearts} and they both checked again. Sontheimer claimed the pot with {a-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Vogelsang Takes Thorel Out

Niveau 12 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The board read {7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and Jean-Noel Thorel had the all-in button in front of him with 216,000 behind in the big blind.

Christoph Vogelsang called with the bigger stack from under the gun.

Jean-Noel Thorel: {q-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Christoph Vogelsang: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

Thorel had turned two pair but was up against Vogelsang's set of nines so needed another queen or deuce to stay alive.

The river completed the board with the {a-Clubs} to not help Thorel at all. Thorel knocked the table, shook Vogelsang's hand, and made his way out of the tournament area.

There are now 16 players left, once the action on all tables has been completed a redraw for the final two tables will take place.

Nitsche Busts to Vogelsang

Niveau 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a flop of {10-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades}, Christoph Vogelsang checked. Dominik Nitsche from one seat over, bet 20,000. Vogelsang check-called.

The turn came the {j-Clubs}. Vogelsang checked again. Nitsche continued for 55,000. Vogelsang called.

The {4-Clubs} river completed the board and Vogelsang checked for a third time. Nitsche moved all in for around 200,000 and Vogelsang tank-called. Nitsche showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} but that wasn't good enough as Vogelsang revealed {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} to win the pot, sending Nitsche out.

Kruk Falls to Mateos

Niveau 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a {5-Spades}{2-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop, Christopher Kruk moved all in from the small blind for around 120,000. Mateos, on the cutoff, made the call.

Christopher Kruk: {10-Spades}{8-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

The {a-Clubs} turn and {k-Diamonds} river completed the board and Mateos won the pot, eliminating Kruk.

Soyza Stays Alive

Niveau 11 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Michael Soyza shoved for 42,000 from under the gun and so did Jean-Noel Thorel on his direct left. The rest of the table quickly folded.

Michael Soyza: {a-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Jean-Noel Thorel: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The flop came p4c4s3h[ to give Soyza trip fours immediately.

The rest of the board was completed with the {j-Hearts} on the turn and the {3-Clubs} on the river to give Soyza the full house to double up.
