Bernhauser Takes From Jacobson

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Martin Jacobson raised from the hijack and was called by Fabian Bernhauser in the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} with 2,500 in the pot and action checked through.

The {k-Clubs} was the turn and Bernhauser checked. Jacobson bet 1,300 before Bernhauser put in the check-raise to 4,700. Jacobson called.

The river was the {8-Hearts} and Bernhauser fired 13,600. Jacobson went into the tank before throwing his cards into the muck.

Linde Gets a Lift

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Evan Sparling opened the action from the hijack before Dylan Linde jammed for 6,600 from the button. Action folded back to Sparling who called.

Dylan Linde: {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Evan Sparling: {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}

Linde survived to double up following the {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} runout.

As the hand finished, PokerStars Ambassador Rafael Moraes joined the table with a fresh starting stack.

Shahi Receives His Marching Orders

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

With plenty of chips in the middle to the {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades} turn, Nicholas Marchington check-jammed into a bet worth 12,000 by Arash Shahi and the latter grabbed his phone after he called it off with both players holding near identical stacks.

Shahi inquired of the dealer whether or not he was allowed the showdown and then started his commentary.

Arash Shahi: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Nicholas Marchington: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}

Only a four or five would knock out Shahi and that's what happened with the {4-Hearts} river as he suddenly fell silent for a few seconds, trying to regain his composure all the while the recording was still happening. Both stacks were counted and the 27,300 of Marchington covered to knock out Shahi in cruel fashion.

It looks like karma didn't work for Shahi even though he paid back Daniel Negreanu a four-year "debt" last summer.

Showdown Pot for Thorel

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Three ways to a {10-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop, Peter Turmezey bet 1,700 and picked up calls by Jean-Noel Thorel as well as Abhinav Iyer, the former of which was in the small blind. There was no further betting action on the {k-Diamonds} turn and {8-Hearts} river as Thorel revealed the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} for turned top pair.

That was enough to win the pot as both his opponents folded.

Angelil Forces Fold from Benham

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

In a three-bet pot to the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop, Patros Benham and Rene-Charles Angelil both checked. The {10-Hearts} turn saw a bet of 3,500 by Angelil and a call from Benham, which led them to the {a-Spades} on the river. Angelil fired another bet of 8,500 and Benham folded after a brief spell in the tank.

Murphy Jams Up His Stack

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Dean Murphy raised to 1,000 and Jason Wheeler three-bet to 3,500 in the cutoff. Martin Raus called out of the small blind and Murphy then simply jammed with the covering stack. Wheeler folded and Raus also let go, exposing the {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Murphy returned the favour and showed his {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} before collecting the chips.

There was 9,500 in the middle. Benjamin Spragg was in the cutoff against Manuel Ruivo on the button.

The board read {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and action checked through.

The {9-Clubs} was the river and Spragg bet 6,200. Ruivo didn't look Spragg up and decided to fold as the PokerStars Team Online ambassador took down the pot.

Kiles Gets a Double; Rheem Beginning to Climb

Niveau 4 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Chino Rheem, who had just 17,000 at one stage earlier, is now the chip leader on his table and has a stack of around 100,000. He opened to 900 from under the gun.

Cassio Kiles jammed for 6,300 on his direct left and action folded to Chris Moorman. He called from the cutoff which got a chuckle out of Rheem. The remaining players got out of the way and the decision was on Rheem.

"I wish you jammed Chris so I could fold, this hand is so pretty," chimed Rheem.

"I'm going to fold anyway," added Rheem as he told the table he had the {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Cassio Kiles: {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Chris Moorman: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop kept Kiles ahead and he secured the needed double up following the {j-Diamonds} turn and {6-Hearts} river.
