Pardo Forces Out Haxton to Increase Stack

In a preflop three-bet pot with continuation bet on the flop, Juan Pardo and Isaac Haxton continued to the turn. Pardo fired a bet of 25,000 out of the big blind into a pot of just over 100,000 and that eventually forced out Haxton.

Lehne Back Above the Starting Stack; Badziakouski on Fumes

Heads-up to the flop, Kathy Lehne bet 10,000 in the cutoff and Daniel Dvoress called on the button. The followed on the turn and Lehne now bet 25,000 for Dvoress to fold.

One hand later, Mikita Badziakouski was in the big blind with very few chips behind. Adrian Mateos min-raised to 3,000 on the button and Nick Petrangelo called in the small blind, Badziakouski sigh-called in the big blind.

The flop was checked to Mateos and he bet 2,000. Petrangelo got out of the way and Badziakouski used one time bank extension before folding, too.

Cary Katz joined during the break to bring the field up to 17 entries and the first notable hand saw a battle of the blinds emerge between Mikita Badziakouski and Kathy Lehne.

Badziakouski check-called the flop for 3,000 and the turn was checked. On the river, Badziakouski bet 9,000 with 500 behind and Lehne called with the . Badziakouski had that beat with and essentially doubled bar one chip.

In a previous hand, Talal Shakerchi had defended the big blind against Timothy Adams and check-called a turn bet before both checked the river. Shakerchi tabled the for two pair to win the pot.

The next hand saw a raise to 4,000 by Cary Katz and Shakerchi called in the small blind. Justin Bonomo jammed for 53,500 in the big blind and Katz asked for a count, then jammed over the top. Shakerchi could all but smirk and folded after a few seconds.

Badziakouski Doubles Through Mateos; the Lights Go Out

Nick Petrangelo raised to 4,000 from under the gun and Mikita Badziakouski then jammed for 32,500 from the next seat. It folded to Adrian Mateos in the big blind, who asked for an exact count and glanced at the stack of Petrangelo before he opted to call.

Petrangelo got out of the way and the cards were revealed.
