Another PCA High Roller Today With $25,000 8-Handed

Yet another high roller tournament is getting underway here in The Bahamas at the 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA) with $25,000 8-Handed, a two-day event that will kick off at 7 p.m. local time.

A few high rollers have already taken place at the Baha Mar Resort and have awarded big winners, including $100,000 PCA Super High Roller champion Isaac Haxton ($1,082,230) and $50,000 6-Handed winner David Yan ($485,690). More recently, Conor Beresford took down $50,000 7-Handed for $436,812 after late-regging the event toward the end of Day 1.

Additionally, Jonathan Jaffe won the $50,000 8-Handed earlier in the evening for $194,814 and said he plans to hop into this $25,000 event.

We will see if any of those other high-roller champs hop into the latest offering, where players will sit down with a starting stack of 150,000 and blinds at 500/1,000/1,000. They likely won't be joined by Artur Martirosian, Sylvain Loosli, Sergi Reixach or Nick Petrangelo, all of whom are still kicking in Day 3 of the $10,300 PCA Main Event.

Day 1 will play for 10 levels lasting 30 minutes in duration with a 20-minute break every three levels. Late registration will remain open until after Level 12 on Day 2, giving the high rollers plenty of time to get in the action.

Like other high roller events at PCA, players will receive four time bank cards upon entry and will receive more as the tournament plays out.

Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team is here on-site in Nassau and ready to bring you all the high-roller updates.
