As the other players went on break, Santiago Plante and Daniel Rezaei were in the midst of battle. The board read

Plante checked to Rezaei, who then bet 6,000 into the swelling pot. Plante made the call and the two went to the river

Plante then led-jammed for around 30,000 and Rezaei promptly folded to award Plante the nice pot.

Conor Beresford was in the small blind facing a four-bet of 10,000 from Victor Li in the cutoff. Beresford used a time bank card before five-betting all in for around 37,000. Li snap called slightly covering.

to eliminate Beresford from the tournament. Beresford sarcastically said "That was very fun." as he exited the tournament area.
Action folded around to Mike Watson on the button who raised to 800. Alberto Meran was in the small blind and three-bet to 4,000. Watson called.

After an open to 800 by Rodrigo Seiji and a call from Lex Veldhuis on the button, small blind Joao Simao three-bet to 4,300. Adam Hendrix in the big blind put in a cold four-bet to 10,500, causing a fold from Seiji and Veldhuis.
