Colman and Negreanu Renew Acquaintance
Dan Colman and Daniel Negreanu know each other well, but only at the poker table. They met in one of the biggest heads-up clashes of all-time when Colman bested Negranu in winning the Big One for One Drop. The difference between the two gentlemen's results was stark. Negreanu won $8,288,001, a fine prize, but Colman reeled in $15,306,668, the second-biggest prize in live tournament history.
So far, since Colman was moved to his table, Negreanu has been on a slightly downward curve, while Colman is growing his stack.
The first hand between the two came when on a board of saw 55,000 in the middle and Colman's bet of 36,000 was enough to take it down.
In the next hand at the table, Negreanu made it 17,000 from the hijack position. Colman raised to 50,000 and took that pot away too.
Advantage Colman for now, but Negreanu, just as in 2014, will not give up easily. The Canadian does have the lead in the All-Time Money List.
