Lövgren's Stack Grows

Niveau 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

We got to the table with a little more than 30,000 already in the pot and the action at the flop with {9-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades} on the felt. Sofia Lövgren, sitting in the big blind position, checked. Fulong Chen checked behind from the button.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Lövgren led out for 20,000. Chen counted out his remaining chips and elected to fold, preserving what he has left.

Smith Crosses the 100K Mark

Niveau 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Elliot Smith opened to 5,500 from the cutoff and then called a three-bet to 15,000 from the player on the button.

A {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop was delivered and Smith check-called a bet of 15,000. The {3-Diamonds} landed on the turn and both players checked to see the {6-Clubs} complete the board.

Both players checked again and Smith tabled {a-Spades}{4-Spades} for just ace high. His opponent paused for a moment before submitting his cards to the muck.

Cooler Gives Lam a Double

Niveau 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Paul Vehvilainen couldn't believe his bad luck when he flipped his cards up after getting it all in preflop with Louis Lam. Vehvilainen's {q-}{q-} was dominated by Lam's {k-}{k-} and he got no help when the board ran out clean. Lam collected the double-up and Vehvilainen's stack was greatly diminished.

The pot was about 15,000 and the flop was on the table reading {3-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Hearts}. Ryan Yu checked and Albert Paik bet 6,000. Yu raised 19,000 and Paik called.

The turn was the {7-Clubs} and Yu led out for 19,000. Paik called, going to a river of {7-Spades}. Yu bet again, making it 50,000. Paik quickly called.

"King-high," Yu said, sliding his cards in the muck without showing them.

"Do I have to show?" Paik asked, but collected the huge pot without revealing his hand.

"Everyone keeps trying to bluff you," another player laughed at the table.

Ko Brings Daggers to War

Yuki Ko now sitting with substantially more chips
Yuki Ko now sitting with substantially more chips

Yuki Ko opened to 5,500 from early position, getting shoved on from the player on the button. The all-in was for 30,200 and before action returned to Ko, the player in the big blind made the call.

Ko gathered a stack of yellow 5,000 chips and dropped them into the pot, enough to cover the player in the big blind. Ko's opponent went into the tank, counting out his stack multiple times.

Eventually, the player in the big blind folded and Ko turned over {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. He was up against the player on the button's {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

"Wow!" Yelled out the player in the big blind. A big "wow" came out of his mouth again when the board ran out {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, telling Ko he would have won his whole stack if Ko had just called the preflop all-in.

Blondel Fires Every Street

Niveau 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Viktor Ivanonv limped preflop from the small blind and Thibaut Blondel was given the option to check his big blind. Instead, he raised to 10,000 and Ivanov called.

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and Ivanov check-called a bet of 8,500 from Blondel. The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Ivanov check-called another 20,000.

The river was the {a-Clubs} and the same pattern began. Ivanov checked and Blondel bet 40,000. This time, Ivanov wasn't sure he wanted to call. He went in the tank for a few minutes before another player at the table called the clock. Once the clock began ticking down, he only needed about 15 seconds to throw the cards in the muck.
