"It Feels Like a Daniel Dvoress Kinda Night..."

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 100 ante
Jason Koon, Daniel Dvoress
Jason Koon, Daniel Dvoress

David Peters raised to 2,000 from the cutoff. Daniel Dvoress was in the big blind and three-bet to 6,800. Peters thought for a moment and moved all in for about 30,000. Dvoress wasted no time and called.

Dvoress: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Peters: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

In a classic race, Peters pulled ahead of Dvoress on a flop of {k-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}.

Before the {j-Clubs} hit the turn, Dvoress began cutting out chips to match Peters' stack, but the {10-Diamonds} hit the river and he scooped the chips back up as Peters hit the rail.

While Dvoress was stacking his chips, Jason Koon made a few comments and said, "It feels like a Daniel Dvoress kinda night, you know what I'm saying?"

Reixach Wins a Small One

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Sergi Reixach was first to act and raised to 1,700. In the hijack, two positions over on the short-handed table, Rafael Moraes three-bet to 4,500. Action folded back around to Reixach and he called.

Reixach check-called another 4,000 on {9-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{4-Clubs} before they both checked the {3-Diamonds} on the turn. The river {3-Hearts} completed the board and Reixach bet out 11,000. Moraes folded right away.

From the Main Event into the High Roller

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

JC Alvarado and Mark Radoja have joined the field. Both players made a deep run in the main event but busted late on the day. Mark Radoja finished 14th for $20,860, JC Alvarado finished 13th and got the same amount.

Another player that started the day in the Main Event, Jason Koon, entered right after busting and has been in the High Roller for quite some time now.

Canadian High Rollers Face Off

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

There was about 9,000 in the pot on a board reading {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Patrick Serda checked from the big blind.

Timothy Adams was under the gun and bet 6,700. Serda thought for a moment and decided to call.

The river was the {4-Spades}. Serda checked again, and Adams paused for about a minute before betting 12,700.

Serda weighed his options and eventually decided to call.

Adams tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Spades} for top two pair and Serda shaked his head and mucked his hand.

Serda recently came out ahead in a heads-up chop at the last-ever EPT High Roller in Prague several months ago, taking the most money and relinquishing the trophy to William Kassouf. He is well-known for his success online and has just shy of a million in live recorded cashes.

Adams has over four and a half million in cashes along with a WSOP bracelet, a Bellagio Cup High Roller win, plus a myriad of High Roller final tables on his resume.

Both of these Canadians are a force at the tables, so there will likely be some interesting hands played by the end of the night.

Chen Doubles

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Andrew Chen got his last 24,300 in on a board of {5-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}. Chen, seated in the hijack, got it in against the small blind who showed {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Chen needed to dodge the jacks, aces and eights, and did exactly that with the {9-Clubs} on the river. Full double for Chen.

Ramos Takes From Bicknell

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We caught the action on the flop as the big blind checked on {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Kristen Bicknell, seated in the cutoff, bet 2,500 and Felipe Ramos on the button and the player in the big blind both called. The big blind checked again on the {Q-Clubs} turn and Bicknell bet 11,500. Ramos called, the big blind folded. The {3-Diamonds} completed the board and Bicknell checked. Ramos moved in and Bicknell instantly folded.

Set Over Set for Schillhabel and Koon

Niveau 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

With about 8,000 in the pot, on a board reading {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{4-Spades}, Jason Koon checked from the big blind.

Stefan Schillhabel was in the cutoff ad bet 4,500. Koon thought for a moment and then called.

The river was the {5-Clubs}. Koon checked, and Schillhabel went all in. Koon basically beat him into the pot and called.

Schillhabel tabled {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a set of jacks, but to his disappointment, Koon showed {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} for a set of kings and sent him to the rail.
