Thomas with a Stack

Niveau 7 : 400/800, 100 ante

Nothing much has gone in favor of Julian Thomas at the tables here in Prague just yet, but he managed to climb back above starting stack. As per Thomas the hand that helped him there was a classic aces versus kings setup, in which both him and Thomas Muehloecker flopped their set before they got it in after the turn.

Markus Durnegger remains among the big stacks despite losing a small pot to Paolo Compagno in a battle of the blinds. Compagno limped in and called a raise to 3,000 by the Austrian. On the {J-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} flop, Compagno check-called a bet of 2,000 and the {3-Diamonds} turn was checked through. Compagno's bet of 3,100 on the {10-Spades} river was called and the Italian showed {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} for top pair as winning hand.

Jean-Noel Thorel raised and called a three-bet to 6,300 by Orpen Kisacikoglu in the big blind. The {9-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop and {9-Clubs} turn were checked and Kisacikoglu check-folded the {Q-Hearts} river to a bet of 6,300.
