The board was already complete, showing , and Max Silver bet 4,500 out of the small blind. Nick Petrangelo in the big blind took a long time to make a decision and used one time bank. With a few seconds left on his minute of extra consideration, he called and Silver showed for a failed gutshot.
Petrangelo dragged in the pot with and then gave Silver a little speech about having received a speeding ticket, before adding "I normally have all my time bank, and I never use it on a Day 1." This time it proved to be very useful to take it, as Petrangelo bumped up his stack while Silver remains at the top of the leader board.

Joao Simao entered not long ago, but he was in fact eliminated less than half an hour after sitting down. The other two additions to the field were Jan-Eric Schwippert, Romain Lewis, Viacheslav Buldygin and Sam Grafton.
Lewis and Buldygin ended up on the same table and the former got into a raising war with Mike Watson. The Canadian squeezed to 6,600 in the big blind and Lewis then reraised to 17,000 in the hijack to force a fold.

Soulier also checked the river and eventually called when Kurganov bet 6,000. Kurganov turned over for top pair top kicker, and that ended up as the winner.

Picking up the action with a raise to 2,900 by Julian Stuer on the button, Rocco Palumbo then followed that up with a reraise to 8,000 in the cutoff and Stuer called. Both players checked the flop and Palumbo bet 10,300 on the turn. Stuer called and Palumbo slowed down, checking the river.
Stuer moved all in for effectively 28,150, as that's what Palumbo had left. The Italian used one time bank and started table talk, but Stuer showed no reaction at all. A dsecond time bank was used and Palumbo then called. Stuer rolled over and Palumbo mucked .
