Malec Sends Mor to the Rail

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante
Sebastian Malec
Sebastian Malec

After a raise by Eric Mor and a call by Sebastian Malec from one seat over on the button, the big blind squeezed to 4,000 and both Mor and Malec called. The {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop was checked to Mor and he bet 7,500, only Malec called and then saw his opponent check the {10-Clubs} turn.

Malec moved all in for effectively 20,500, as that's what Mor had left, and the latter eventually called.

Eric Mor: {J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Sebastian Malec: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The {A-Clubs} river was a blank for Mor and he was been eliminated, but already mentioned to consider re-entering.

Fergiatakis Horak Take Pots

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Jiri Horak raised to 1,200 and the hijack three-bet to 3,000, Horak called. On the {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, the action checked to the hijack and he continued for 2,800, Horak called. Both then ended up checking the {10-Diamonds} turn and the {3-Spades} river.

Horak shook his head and flipped over {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a turned set.

One table over, Michal Ozimek raised to 1,300 and Bart Fergiatakis flat-called in the small blind, as did Erkan Soenmez in the big blind. The trio checked the {K-Spades}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop and Fergiatakis then bet the {5-Hearts} turn for 1,500. Only Soenmez called and the {5-Spades} river completed the board.

Fergiatakis now made it 5,000 to go and Soenmez quickly called with just 7,000 behind. Fergiatakis turned over {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} for hidden aces and Soenmez flipped over his {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the inferior full house. "I almost raised you," the German said.

Ivanov Keeps Building Stack

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Hand 1

Dinesh Alt raised to 1,200 and pocked up two callers in the cutoff and small blind. On the {A-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, the action checked to Alt and the Swiss' bet worth 1,800 won the pot.

Hand 2

One hand later, Alt made it 1,200 to go again and Mladen Ivanov three-bet to 3,100, Milan Sasek called in the small blind and Alt came along also. On the {J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop, action checked to Ivanov and his bet worth 4,500 was called by Sasek only. On the {4-Hearts} turn, Sasek checked again and eventually folded to a bet worth 9,000 by Ivanov.

Value for Stavridis

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

[Removed:197] defended his small blind and got into a bigger pot with initial raiser Paris Stavridis from under the gun. [Removed:198] check-called a bet of 2,500 on the {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} turn and did so again for 9,700 once the {9-Diamonds} river completed a possible four-card flush.

Stavridis turned over {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for the flopped straight that improved to the nut flush, and scooped a nice pot.

Two Levels of Re-Entries Remain

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

Alexander Nemtcov, Konstantinos Tsirakidis and Andrey Andreev have been eliminated, and have this level and another two in order to re-enter the competition. Unlimited re-entries are available during the registration period and one of the players to jump back in already was Jean Paul Zaffran.

Zaffran just scooped a small pot by firing two barrels on the board {8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}. The first one was worth 700, while the second on the turn was for 1,500. His sole opponent from under the gun called the first bet, then check-folded to the second bet to award the pot to the Frenchman.

Battista Doubles

Niveau 6 : 250/500, 75 ante

While Slaven Popov has been eliminated by table neighbor Milan Sasek, fellow Bulgarian Mladen Ivanov is thriving. And another player just jumped out of his chair, very excited, and that was no other than Pablo Battista.

After a raise to 1,000 from under the gun, a player three-bet to 2,500 and Battista called in the small blind. The initial raiser called and the flop fell {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. The action checked to the three-bettor, who continued for 3,000. Only Battista called and check-called another bet worth 6,000 on the {J-Diamonds} turn.

The {J-Spades} river completed the board and Battista checked. His opponent pushed and Battista eventually called with {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, the other player was bluffing with king-queen for a busted straight draw.

Malec Takes from Tomovic

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Joining the action on the {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{2-Clubs} turn, Sebastian Malec led for 5,300 for around two third of the pot and Aleksandar Tomovic called in the hijack. Malec then checked the {Q-Clubs} on the river and Tomovic thought about it before checking behind.

Malec rolled over {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} for top pair, and Tomovic first turned over the {K-Hearts} followed by the {K-Clubs} and dropped some chips.

Lescot is Frustrated

Niveau 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

A big pot was brewing and it left Eric Lescot with the head shaking. After a raise to 925 and a call, Pablo Battista three-bet to 3,300 and both opponents including Lescot in the cutoff called. On the {K-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop, the action checked to Battista and he bet 3,475, only Lescot called.

On the {5-Diamonds} turn, both players checked and Lescot also checked the {8-Hearts} river. Battista bet 9,800 and Lescot snap-called by tossing in a single chip within one second. Battista showed the {K-Spades}{8-Spades} for rivered two pair and Lescot could all but sigh.
