Astarita Doubles With Big Blind Special
Niveau 4
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
In a pot of only 8,000, big blind Guilio Astarita committed his stack of 27,200 on the 7♠5♦2♦ flop. He was looked up by Erich Tedeschi in middle position, who had him covered.
Giulio Astarita: 5♠2♠
Erich Tedeschi: 8♥8♣
Astarita had flopped two pair, taking a big lead against Tedeschi's eights. The K♦ turn did not help Tedeschi, and the 2♣ river upgraded Astarita to a full house, doubling him up.
