McKola's Aces Cracked by Quads

Niveau 9 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Adam McKola
Adam McKola

Serafino Aloe raised to 1,600 in the cutoff. Adam McKola put in a three-bet to 4,000 from the small blind, which Aloe called. McKola continued for 5,000 on the 587 flop, seeing Aloe toss in more calling chips.

McKola doubled his sizing on the 8 turn to 10,000 but could not shake Aloe yet as the Italian player called again. The 2 river slowed down McKola as he checked to Aloe.

Aloe prepared a bet of 30,000 and gently put it in the middle. McKola mulled things over before he put in a call.

Aloe tabled 88 for quad eights. McKola could only laugh and compliment his opponent's hand as he showed AxAx and paid his dues.

Gibuti and Patti Battle on Newest Table

Niveau 8 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Antonio Gibuti had opened preflop on a newly opened table. Gabriele Patti then three-bet to 4,200 in position, which Gibuti called.

Gibuti check-called Patti's continuation-bet of 3,800 on the J7K flop before the 10 turn went check-check. Gibuti then bet 3,400 on the 8 river, after which Patti jammed all in for 17,300.

Gibuti tanked for a bit but ultimately threw in a calling chip.

"Good call," Patti stated as he opened A5 for ace-high. Gubuti tabled J10 for two pair, taking down the pot and eliminating Patti.
